One2 Labs ("One2 Labs", "we", "us", or "our") develops Beside, an Android launcher application. This Privacy Policy explains how Beside accesses, uses, stores, and handles information when you use the App.

1. Information Beside Accesses

To provide launcher functionality, Beside may access information available through Android on your device, including information about applications installed on the device, application labels and icons, launcher activities, shortcuts, widgets, and other information required to display and launch applications.

Beside may also access information needed to determine device configuration, such as screen size or available window configuration, so that the launcher can adapt its layout and multitasking features.

This information is processed locally on your device to provide launcher features. Beside does not send this information to One2 Labs.

2. Personal Information

Beside does not require you to create an account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, password, phone number, postal address, or other personal profile information in order to use the App.

The App does not intentionally collect personal information from you for transmission to One2 Labs.

3. Installed Applications and App Information

As an Android launcher, Beside needs to access information about installed applications in order to display the Apps list, favorites, folders, app pairs, grouped applications, and launcher shortcuts.

This information can include application names, package identifiers, application icons, launchable activities, and shortcut information exposed by Android.

This information is used locally to provide launcher functionality. It is not uploaded to One2 Labs or sold to third parties by Beside.

4. App Pairs, Favorites, Folders, and Settings

Beside may store launcher configuration on your device, such as favorites, folders, hidden items, app-pair configuration, widget selections, dock configuration, appearance preferences, and other settings you choose.

These settings are used to provide and remember your launcher customization. They are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to One2 Labs.

5. Widgets and Shortcuts

Beside can display Android application widgets and shortcuts. Widget and shortcut functionality is provided through Android and the corresponding applications.

Beside does not control the data displayed inside a third-party widget. Third-party applications may collect or process information according to their own privacy policies. You should review the privacy policy of the relevant application or widget provider if you have questions about its data practices.

6. Data Collection and Sharing

Beside does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

One2 Labs does not receive the installed-app inventory, launcher configuration, favorites, folders, or widget configuration stored and processed locally by Beside.

Beside does not intentionally transmit this information to external servers operated by One2 Labs.

7. Third-Party Applications

Beside can launch and interact with applications installed on your device. When you open a third-party application, that application may collect, use, or share information according to its own privacy policy.

Beside is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party applications, widgets, services, websites, or content that you access through the launcher.

8. Permissions

Beside may request Android permissions or system access where required for specific launcher functionality. The permissions available to the App depend on your Android version and device.

You can manage available permissions through Android system settings. Some features may not work if required permissions or system access are not granted.

9. Data Security

Because Beside is designed to process its launcher information locally, there is no One2 Labs server-side database containing your launcher configuration or installed-app list.

Information stored locally by the App is subject to the security of your Android device and its operating system. We recommend using the security features provided by your device, such as a screen lock and device encryption where available.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Beside does not retain your launcher information on One2 Labs servers. Information stored locally by Beside remains on your device until it is changed, removed by the App, cleared through Android settings, or removed when you uninstall the App, subject to Android's handling of application data and backups.

Because Beside does not require an online account, there is no Beside account containing personal data that you need to request us to delete.

11. Children's Privacy

Beside is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through Beside.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's functionality, data practices, or applicable requirements change. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Beside ("the App"), an Android launcher developed by One2 Labs ("we", "us", or "our").

By installing, accessing, or using Beside, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Beside provides launcher and multitasking features, including:

• Launching applications
• Side-by-side app launching
• App pairs
• Favorites
• Folders
• App widgets
• Hidden items
• Customizable dock
• App organization and customization

You may use the App for personal and lawful purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Beside complies with applicable laws and the terms of any other applications or services you use through the launcher.

2. Third-Party Applications

Beside interacts with applications installed on your Android device. Beside does not own, control, or operate those third-party applications. Their availability, functionality, content, permissions, and terms are controlled by their respective developers.

We are not responsible for:

• Third-party application behavior
• Third-party content
• Application compatibility
• Changes made by third-party developers
• Loss of functionality caused by third-party applications or Android updates

3. Permissions

Certain Beside features may require Android permissions or system access. You may choose whether to grant requested permissions. Some features may not function correctly or may be unavailable if required permissions are not granted.

Beside uses permissions for functionality provided by the App and does not grant itself permissions that Android has not authorized.

4. Default Launcher

You may optionally set Beside as your Android default home application. You can change your default launcher through Android system settings at any time.

When Beside is used as the default home application, some behavior may differ from when Beside is used as a non-default launcher, particularly regarding side-by-side app launching.

5. App Pairs and Widgets

Beside may provide functionality for creating app pairs and adding Android application widgets.

The availability and behavior of these features may depend on your Android version, device manufacturer, screen size and configuration, installed applications, third-party application support, and Android system restrictions.

We do not guarantee that every application or widget will support every Beside feature.

6. Updates and Changes

We may update Beside from time to time to add or remove features, improve performance, fix bugs, improve compatibility, address security issues, or adapt to changes in Android.

Features may change or become unavailable as Android and third-party applications evolve.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Beside functional and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every Android device.

8. Intellectual Property

Beside, including its original software, design, branding, graphics, and other original content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the App except where permitted by applicable law or an applicable open-source license.

Third-party application names, icons, trademarks, and content remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Beside is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee that the App will:

• Always operate without interruption
• Be completely error-free
• Work on every Android device
• Remain compatible with future Android versions
• Support every third-party application

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, One2 Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Beside.

This includes issues arising from third-party applications, Android system changes, device configuration, or loss of functionality.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using Beside and uninstall it at any time.

We may discontinue or restrict the App or particular features when reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal, or technical reasons.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary. Updated Terms will be made available through the App or the relevant distribution channel.

Your continued use of Beside after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the developer's jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
